Pinch, punch, first of the month – we’re one day into September and we’ve already got a jam-packed Friday roundup for you, following on from Tremaine Emory exiting Supreme with drops such as Kiko Kostadinov’s new OTTO ASICS, to J.Lindeberg announcements and much more.

That’s right, there’s plenty going on in the world to see you through. Palm Angels have teamed up with the Moneygram Haas F1 team for a collection that feels only appropriate to be soundtracked by Charlie XCX’s “Vroom Vroom,” and SANDRO and Wrangler have dropped some great cowboy-inspired clobber. Whether you’re going hard, wholesome or a bit of both, start your weekend off right with our Friday roundup.

Adidas and Y-3 fuse avant-garde with athletics

For the second drop of Y-3’s Adizero performance running line, Yohji Yamamoto shows us that you can look good while giving it some. The collection reimagines classic adidas running products through Yamamoto’s forward-thinking and original perspective. Lightweight polyamide fabrics work with the body to offer heightened support and comfort while running. The collection, featuring a full men’s and women’s look, is available through, and on CONFIRMED, in-store and at select retailers.

ASICS and OTTO 958 collaborate on the Gel-Flexkee 958

Flappy-tongue fever is still at large, and the new Kiko Kostadinov co-signed OTTO 958 is the latest shoe to fan the flames. OTTO 958 is the amorphous project between the Kostadinov fashion house and international art gallery Morán Morán. For the Gel-Flexkee 958, the athletic movements of skateboarders were analysed at the ASICS Sports Engineering Laboratory. As part of this focus on functionality, a separated forefoot area offers comfort for heavy wear. The release arrives in two initial colourways, “Gunmetal/Black” and “Hunter Green/Black,” on September 7, with a third colourway releasing later this year, so keep your eyes peeled. ©
