Our commitment

Culted is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including disabled people, in line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How we've made the site accessible

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (nav, main, article, footer) on every page
  • Body text at 19px with a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio
  • All interactive controls keyboard-operable with a visible focus ring
  • Alt text on every editorial image; decorative images marked with alt=""
  • A skip link to the main content, exposed on focus
  • Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion
  • Forms have programmatically-associated labels and aria-live status messages

Known limitations

  • Some embedded YouTube and Vimeo players are third-party and may have accessibility issues outside our control. We use the youtube-nocookie domain where possible.
  • The site has not yet been audited by an independent third party. A full WCAG 2.2 AA audit is planned within six months of launch.
