This website is published by Culted Media Limited (trading as “Culted”), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 11785366), with its registered office at 132–140 Goswell Road, London, England, EC1V 7DY. Culted is part of RAD Media Group. Culted Media Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through this site.
What we collect
We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. In practice:
- Enquiries & pitches — your name, email address and the contents of your message, only when you choose to contact one of our inboxes or submit a brief.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Usage data — if you consent to analytics and/or advertising, technical and usage signals (such as pages viewed, device type, coarse location and a cookie or advertising identifier) as set out in our Cookie Policy.
Cookies & advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising only with your consent. Our advertising is sold directly, served through Google Ad Manager, and targeted on geography only — we do not run personalised or behavioural advertising. Some ads are plain images linking to advertisers or affiliates and set no cookies; others are delivered via third-party ad tags (for example Adform and Google/DoubleClick) that may set cookies once you give advertising consent. Lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on:
- Consent — for analytics and advertising cookies, and for newsletter sign-ups.
- Legitimate interests — for handling enquiries and pitches you choose to send us, and for keeping the site secure.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and, where you have consented, our advertising and analytics partners (such as Google and Adform). These act as processors or, for ad measurement, as independent or joint controllers under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose data where required by law.
How long we keep data
Enquiries and pitches are retained for up to two years for record-keeping. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the relevant provider’s settings and policies.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification)
- Have your data deleted (erasure)
- Restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to direct marketing
- Withdraw consent at any time, and receive your data in a portable format

International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK-recognised safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum) to protect your data.
