Liam Gallagher is an adidas stan, particularly fond of the German sportswear brand’s adidas Spezial division headed up by Gary Aspden. It’s a collaborative partnership that’s brought us multiple pairs of trainers under the Oasis singer’s vision, and now there’s a new pair on the block – the Liam Gallagher x adidas Spezial LG2 SPZL.
For their third limited-edition trainer, the two cultural giants come together to honour both adidas’ heritage and Liam’s musical legacy. In doing so, we find the LG2 SPZL in a colourway that pays homage to the original adidas Country silhouette of 1973.

“Chalk White” is the main hue, working the majority of the upper in suede before adding touches of white leather around the eyestay placket, tongue, and rear-quarter. Naturally, “Bottle Green” zig-zagged Three Stripes make an appearance on the side panels, while a gum sole unit adds a retro touch.
Liam Gallagher’s face is brought to life in adidas’ signature blue hue on the tongue, sitting neatly alongside his signature, which subsequently rounds out the trainer’s look.
Those familiar with Liam Gallagher will know he debuted these sneakers in August at his gig at KOKO in London, coinciding with the release of his latest album, Knebworth 22.
The limited-run trainers retail for £110 and will drop on September 8 via Confirmed and all adidas Spezial stockists. Take a closer look at the pair above.
As you were, LG x
