FC Barcelona is continuing to make moves in the fashion world, with luxury label AMIRI unveiling its latest collection of formalwear for the Spanish football club.
The partnership follows Barcelona's recent collaboration with Tyler, the Creator's GOLF WANG, further strengthening the relationship between football, fashion and contemporary culture.
While the GOLF WANG collaboration brought Tyler's colourful, playful streetwear aesthetic to the Catalan club, Mike Amiri is taking things in a more sophisticated direction. As Barcelona's official formalwear partner, the Los Angeles-based designer is responsible for dressing the men's and women's first teams, alongside club executives, for European fixtures and major occasions.
The latest collection centres around a grey pinstripe wool suit, featuring a double-breasted jacket, sharp lapels and subtly flared trousers. Striped shirts and garnet-coloured silk ties reference Barcelona's iconic club colours, while AMIRI's signature detailing adds a contemporary finish. Elsewhere, a burgundy leather jacket featuring an embossed Barcelona crest introduces a more relaxed alternative to the traditional tailoring.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2014, AMIRI has established itself as one of luxury fashion's most recognisable contemporary labels, combining Californian influences, rock 'n' roll references and meticulous craftsmanship. The partnership with Barcelona, initially announced in 2025, is set to run through the 2029/30 season.
The collaboration also reflects a wider shift in football, with clubs increasingly looking beyond traditional sportswear partnerships to establish themselves within fashion and lifestyle. For Barcelona, whose players include style-conscious stars such as Lamine Yamal, Jules Koundé and Pedri, the move feels like a natural progression.
