Vivienne Westwood has presented its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign and it unfolds inside the historic showroom of Belloni, a family-owned Italian furniture maker that has been crafting ornate cabinetry and interiors in Barlassina for more than a century and a half.
Shot by Juergen Teller, and curated under the sharp eye of creative director Andreas Kronthaler, the location was chosen after Kronthaler visited the workshop himself, drawn to its lavish rooms as a reflection of his life in Milan and his broader connection to Italy.
Even with temperatures soaring to 41°C during the shoot, Teller and creative partner Dovile Drizyte produced a vivid series of images where Rococo revives giltwood pieces, Art Deco cabinetry, and richly upholstered textiles.
The campaign’s imagery leans into a bold contrast, too. The grandeur of classical Italian interiors set against Vivienne Westwood’s trademark rebellious tailoring, while gold damask, gilded Rococo seating, and trompe‑l’œil architectural walls create a theatrical backdrop for looks staged across salons, studies, and boudoirs.
The collection itself centres on deep, sculpted tailoring punctuated by sudden bursts of colour, paired with structured Harris Tweed outerwear and fluid dresses that intentionally expose seams, stockings, and construction details. Corseted knitwear and an eclectic mix of textures heighten the tension between the clothes and the showroom’s Neoclassical furniture arrangements.
Casting is equally deliberate. Agency models appear alongside street‑cast faces to give the portraits a raw, immediate quality. Italian cultural icon Ilona Staller (Cicciolina) joins the cast, her presence tying the story together as an emblem of provocative glamour.
