Inspired by the contrast and tension between urban and natural landscapes, Acne Studios’ FW25 collection played on the notion of two juxtaposing worlds. To put it simply, inside @acnestudios’ FW25 show were two wolves - and both went hard af.
We hit up Acne’s show space in Paris, with the likes of Doechii, the Dare, Pinkpantheress, Shygirl and more, to a venue that was decorated to look like a “futuristic skyline” with knitted rocks and metal sculptures designed by Swedish duo Front littering the runway.

This brutalist landscape contrasted with a softer collection from Acne this season, which took inspiration from creative director Jonny Johansson’s Nordic upbringing. Soft materials like faux fur, shearling, thick knits, and silk dominated the runway, evoking the idea of a well-loved teddy bear.
And bears actually did make a cameo on the runway too - only not the “teddy” kind. Two slip dresses appeared on the runway, accessorised with thick faux fur hoods, each displaying a grizzly and a polar bear.

In some parts of the collection, this sense of softness appeared in the presence of lighter shades, like the pale pink tights, lime green body suit, and cream faux fur oversized coat of one look. Or softness was evident in the texture of jumpers worn like thick, knitted shawls, with sleeves that transformed into gloves offering the fullest warmth.

The colour palette was equally warm, with soft and comforting hues like brown, oat, honey, and beige combining naturally with ‘70s inspired shades of Bordeaux red,
purple, and gold.
To pit it simply, inside Acne Studios’ FW25 show were two wolves - and they were both warm and cosy af.
