Palace and UGG are cosying up for round two

Palace has just furthered its fluffy alliance with Australian shoemaker UGG, taking to Instagram to tease its latest release. This time around, it’s the Tasman silhouette that’s getting a graphic revamp à la skate deck, courtesy of the London skate label.

The Tasman Slipper is known for its easy-wearing, low-profile construction and contrasting Tasman Braid detailing to the collar. A laceless construction makes for the perfect canvas for collaboration, and Palace seized every inch of real estate available. Embroidering the style with a slew of logos and cartoon-style graphics, Palace’s London tongue-in-cheek playfulness is reflected through images which see ducks holding a bomb, smiling frogs and devils in diapers. The slipper-like shoe is available in both a green and brown colourway, providing just enough contrast with UGG’s signature sheepskin lining.

Also released as part of the collaboration are Mittens, again featuring Palace logo embroidery and completed with a sheepskin trim and available in both green and brown colourway. Completing the product selection is a fluffy “P” shaped rug, which is responsible for taking Palace pro skater, Lucien Clarke, to the sky in a promotional campaign, where team members sit together during a wholesome winter escape, unboxing their cosy creps and singing songs together before taking off on their magic Palace x UGG carpets.

The Palace x UGG collection arrives in the wake of an initial embroidered “lightning strike” classic short boot released in March this year. The popularity of UGG boots is something that we have seen across the fashion space, with Chopova Lowena’s SS24 show unveiling a pin badge-filled boot.

The Palace x UGG collaboration will be available to purchase at 11 a.m., on December 1 in Palace stores and online
