The Oasis reunion is Definitely Maybe happening

No, you’re not dreaming. Liam and Noel Gallagher are getting the band back together, and Oasis is hitting the road again in 2025. The Manchester-born Rock ‘N’ Roll Stars will perform together for the first time in 16 years, following a fiery split in 2009, for a 14-date UK and Ireland tour.

Liam first sparked rumours of a reunion during his Reading Festival set, where “27/08/24” was displayed in Oasis’ original logo font, teasing the news. With confirmation the fued had been put to bed this morning, we reckon barbers across the country are sharpening their scissors, ready to dish out mod cuts to the masses.

Trims aside, Oasis mania is well and truly upon us, so much so that the Oasis website crashed when the reunion was announced. Following the announcement, Oasis said, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

And let’s be honest, we all love a bit of nostalgia. So an Oasis reunion is a proper cherry on the top moment for anyone who fancies reliving a bit of ‘90s hedonism, debauchery, and lager-loaded rock and roll.

To add fuel to the hypey flames, ‘90s icon, graffiti writer, and drum and bass legend Goldie got in on the action. In a throwback moment, he posted a pic of him posing with a Union Jack guitar, similar to the flag-printed Epiphone Sheraton that Noel was pictured playing in the ‘90s.

The reunion could see a new generation of fans hooked on Oasis’ mod-meets-Madchester style. Between them, Noel and Liam have had their fair share of style moments, from Kangol bucket hats and baggy footy tops, denim jackets and Clark’s desert boots, and how could we forget Liam’s penchant for a parka?

Is Britpop back for round two? With an Oasis reunion, it might just be.

Tickets for Oasis’ Live ‘25 tour will go on sale this Saturday, August 31 at 9 a.m. (UK) and 8 a.m. (Ireland).
