This weekend, London hosted Notting Hill Carnival, the annual event that’s been bringing communities together since 1965, in the heart of the city. Traditionally an ode to Caribbean culture, celebrating the impact Caribbean migrants have had on British society, the music, culture, food, and vibes at Carni are unmatched. Till next year!

KidSuper released the first “String Theory” drop

Kidsuper is pulling the strings of fall fashion, given Creative Director Colm Dillane just released the first first drop of his “String Theory” collection. Taking the IG, Dillane wrote “I’m excited! Parisian brand côte&ciel has just dropped its FW24 campaign, which spotlights a collection inspired by the ‘Horizon’. Looking to the space between the ‘Coast and Sky’, head designer Emilie Arnault took inspiration from côte&ciel’s internal design monologue, creating a collection that takes existing styles and gives them new material iterations and patterns.

Nicholas Daley is backing the Mangrove Steel Pan group

Nicholas Daley has extended his partnership with one of the longest standing steel band groups, the Mangrove Steel Band to drop an exclusive t-shirt for this year’s Notting Hill Carnival. Donating proceeds from the drop to the Mangrove Charity Fund to support the next generation of pan players, the t-shirt is a designer piece with a good cause, which you can find at this link

Kei Toyoshima is behind 66°North’s AW24 launch

66°North’s AW24 campaign, titled ‘The Traveller’ has just dropped, revealing the much-anticipated debut of its new Creative Director Kei Toyoshima, who joined the brand in November 2022. Blending 66°North’s core heritage styles with entirely new elements, from fabrics to finishing techniques, the new AW24 collection is launching on September 5th.
