Ahead of a summer of tennis, Range Rover has just revealed that it’s an official partner of one of the most-watched tennis events in the world: The Championships, Wimbledon.

If you’re a fan of strawberries, fizz, and quintessentially British sporting events, then you’re likely well-versed in the world of Wimbledon. Watched by millions every year, the Grand Slam tournament will kick off this July, with the support of a new Official Vehicle Partner for 2024: Range Rover.

Given that Range Rover is a company grounded by its British roots, this makes it a natural partner for The Championships, Wimbledon, one of the globally watched British sporting events. As Range Rover’s Managing Director, Geraldine Ingham puts it: “The Championships … perfectly captures the elegance and refinement of our vehicles and the synergies between our two modern luxury brands.”

As part of the partnership, Range Rover’s plug-in electric hybrid vehicles – the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport – will be used to transport pluggers, their teams, and event officials throughout the tournament, in an effort towards lowering emissions at The Championships. This unites Range Rover and The Championships in their similar goals of moving towards sustainability, and carries on Range Rover’s aim of achieving net zero operational emissions by 2030.

The Championships is set to kick off on July 1st in Wimbledon, so keep your rackets warm and your eyes out for Range Rover at the tournament.
