WHOOP and British designer Samuel Ross are continuing their creative partnership with the launch of PROJECT TERRAIN Layer 2, the latest collection from the performance technology brand and Ross' design atelier, SR_A.
Following the sell-out of their debut release in March 2026, the second instalment takes the collaboration beyond wearable technology, introducing a wider selection of technical clothing, outerwear and accessories designed for everyday movement.
This time around, Ross has turned his attention to the natural environment, exploring how clothing can adapt between city life and the outdoors. His signature architectural approach appears throughout the collection, with structured silhouettes, technical Italian fabrics and considered detailing bringing a contemporary edge to traditional performance apparel.
At the centre of the release are two new ATLAS band colourways for the WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, arriving in 'Cinder' and 'Volta'. Elsewhere, the collection introduces the NOMAD Technical Puffer, STRATA Technical Joggers and Shorts, alongside fitted T-shirts, a performance bra, leggings and headwear. The range arrives in a selection of earthy and muted tones, including 'Onyx', 'Terra', 'Ash' and 'Solstice'.
Beyond the clothing itself, PROJECT TERRAIN Layer 2 continues to explore the relationship between fashion and wearable technology. Utilising WHOOP's Any-Wear technology, the collaboration considers how health-tracking devices can be incorporated into different garments, opening up new possibilities for how performance data is collected throughout the day.
Speaking on the partnership, Ross explained that the collection reflects the transition between urban and rural environments, with a focus on creating functional pieces that can accommodate different forms of training and everyday activity.
With prices ranging from £49 to £639, including WHOOP bands priced at £69, PROJECT TERRAIN Layer 2 is available now via the WHOOP online store.
