Lined with Beyoncé five-time historic concert performances in London’s Tottenham Hotspur stadium, luxury retailer FLANNELS X is creating a RENAISSANCE experience, turning their Oxford Street store into “The RENAISSANCE Flagship”.
Acting as both a retail concept and an exhibition space, this one-of-a-kind experience will take its visitors through the story of Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE, capturing the high-energy the superstar never fails to bring on stage. To commemorate the event, FLANNELS X has created a 19-piece collection titled the “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR Collection”.
Priced between £32 and £200, the tour-inspired collection includes a variety of ready-to-wear pieces, including graphic tees with RENAISSANCE illustrations and visuals of Queen B herself, as well as a CUFF IT tee, in reference to the artist’s single. Also part of the collection is a RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR jacket with 3M detailing, a series of hoodies, caps and tote bags, as well as a matching THIQUE pair of shorts and zip-up hoodie.
The flagship store will debut a RENAISSANCE COUTURE by Beyoncé x Balmain exhibition, which will consist of 12 looks, never seen before by the public, created in collaboration by Olivier Rousteing and Bey herself, inspired by her album. Not only iconic, this couture collection is historic, marking the first time a Black woman has overseen a couture collection made by a historic Parisian luxury house.
In addition, The RENAISSANCE Flagship store will deck out its exterior façade with visuals from the collection, album and RENAISSANCE tour, mirroring the basement of the store, which will host the RENAISSANCE COUTURE by Beyoncé x Balmain couture collection as well as having floor-to-ceiling displays, allowing its visitors to fully immerse themselves into the RENAISSANCE universe.
The RENAISSANCE Flagship will open to the public on May 30 until June 5, and the limited-edition collection will only be available for the duration of the flagship.
