Skinny pants, no logos, suede and human hair (question mark?) are all in for 2025. 2024 has been a drippy year fr, and we expect 2025 to turn up in the same way. We’re envisioning weirder, newer textures, more monochrome and low-key vibes. Keep reading to find out what we think will be trending next year. Don’t @ us if we’re wrong (we never are).
New textures
Two years ago we had mohair, this year pony hair, cowhide and faux fur, is human hair next? Designers such as Kimhēkim and artists like Taiba Akhuetie are using hair in their designs, and that makes us think we might be seeing more of it next year.
Accepting skinnier silhouettes
The return of skinny jeans has been haunting us for a few years, but 2025 will be the year of acceptance. Luka Sabbat has been donning tight leather trousers Rick style, influencer @luvyute is wearing skinny jeans tucked in boots circa 2007, Steve Lacy is wearing skinnies out and about, and Hedi Slimane is teasing the launch of his own brand? We just have to accept it.
Lo-fi everything

Balenciaga’s new Pre-Fall campaign, the concept of nonchalant winter, recessioncore, the rise of streaming – there’s a chill af vibe in the zeigeist and we’re keeping it low-key for 2025.
The chainmail renaissance

We’re throwing it back to the middle ages fr. The cult popularity of Chrome Hearts and the rise of gothic chainmail accessories on TikTok are giving medieval knight vibes.
Snowgear

We’re evolving from gorpcore and venturing into more iced territories with skiwear and technical snow-wear. The gorpcore jackets are getting thicker, the water-resistant pants are getting insulation, sports sunglasses are getting larger, and the trail shoes are getting spikes on the soles. “Skiing outfits” searches have increased by 255% on Pinterest this year, and you can see skiwear and snow-wear in new collabs from Stüssy x Mountain Hardwear, Charlie Constantinou x 66° North, JJJJound x Descente and Skims x The North Face.
Getting deep into the archive

The fashion archive community has been around for a while, don’t get us wrong, but in 2024, we’ve started seeing archive spaces and archive shopping online skyrocket. And we think that we’re gonna be diving deeper next year. The more niche, the better.
F1, cars and motorcycles

Puma Speedcats topped the Lyst charts, and A$AP Rocky’s Puma collabs are all about cars and motorcycles, Balenciaga collabed with Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz linked up with Moncler and Nigo, moto jackets are trending. Will 2025 keep the motopapi vibes going?
Monochrome and less logos
We said before, and we’ll say it again – we’re keeping it chill fr. We’re going for limited logos, muted monochrome palettes, no loud colours: the vibes are low-key smart and nonchalant.
Suede

We’re going hard with the different textures fr. Suede bags are currently popping off, trend analyst @databutmakeitfashion reported brown suede having a 150% increase in popularity. Stats don’t lie.
The colour brown

In 2024, we wore a lot of grey. For 2025, brown’s taking over. Even Pantone agrees with “mocha mousse” a medium-toned brown being named the colour of 2025 – although we’re envisioning a darker brown, we have to agree.
Boho

Along with suede, brown tones and archival pieces, it’s no surprise that the 2010s Boho aesthetic is making a comeback big time with Chloé, SAINT LAURENT and Isabel Marant coming in strong with flowy vibes.
