Crenshaw Skate Club has launched its latest collection, “Skaters of One Nation” (S.O.O.N), inspired by the sense of connection at the core of skateboarding.
The term “Skaters of One Nation” stems from a mutual love for the activity, built up through hours of dedication, slams and shared euphoria when somebody lands a trick. It is a capsule built on the sentiment that a skater can go anywhere in the world and feel an immediate connection through the nation of skateboarders.
Cartoon logo graphics are screen-printed onto denim jackets and jeans in relaxed cuts nodding to the styles traditionally favoured by skateboarders. Later looks show off-white workwear-inspired sets comprising jackets and loose-fitting pants. They feature printed photographs depicting vintage “Crenshaw Skate Club” signs above buildings in an NYC neighbourhood setting.

Nods to the brand’s skateboarding roots are seen in lookbook shots against the backdrop of the iconic globe structure in Flushing Meadows Park, a legendary Big Apple skate spot. The low-light snaps reveal “CSC” hoodies and sweatpants in a dark green colourway, with yellow and blue branding providing contrast. The collection also sees the release of cut and sew items which were first seen at London Fashion week in June this year.
Crenshaw Skate Club was founded by Tobey McIntosh in 2017, and has made a name for itself with its skate-rooted approach to streetwear. The label has collaborated with Lacoste, Nike SB and BBC ICECREAM – a brand which saw era-defining streetwear-meets skateboarding collaborations, partnering with “00s skate legend Terry Kennedy back in 2005.
The Crenshaw Skate Club “Skaters of One Nation” (S.O.O.N) collection will be available to shop on November 4 at 11 a.m PST via the brand’s webstore.
