Martine Rose, the London-based menswear designer who’s asserted herself as one of the fastest rising designers in fashion right now, has just linked up with Supreme for its latest Fall 24 collaboration, dropping this week. Here’s what you need to know about the linkup, from when it’s dropping to what it’s inspired by.

As a designer that’s fast become a voice of modern menswear, breaking, subverting, and reimagining the traditional codes of masculinity in her designs, Martine Rose makes sense for a collaboration with Supreme.
Since it was founded in 1994, Supreme has become a highly coveted and influential brand within men’s fashion communities in particular, becoming the uniform of hype-culture and infiltrating the wardrobes of musicians, artist, and other influential figures.

As Martine Rose said of her link up with Supreme, the collection drew inspiration from these types of people: the people she meets everyday. Growing up in London, Rose explains, “I had this broad sense of clothing being associated with different nights and different scenes.
“I had a precocious experience of dance and music culture and how they affected the clothes. It wasn’t fashion. My family’s Jamaican, and there was a very, very particular respect for style. Fashion was something… almost basic; if you had style, that was something else.”

The Martine Rose x Supreme Fall 24 collection will be dropping on September 12th, alongside a 44-page photo zine which will donate all of its profits to St. Giles Trust, a UK based charity helping people affected by homelessness, substance abuse or violence transform their lives.
