Valentino has dropped its men’s and women’s Spring 2024 collections, perfectly blending casual ease with an urban allure. Full of variety, we see a range of formal and relaxed looks work together in a harmonious dialogue.
Sparkling detailing arrives just in time for the festive season. Mini dresses, suits, and matching jackets are adorned with bows and butterflies, channelling a carefree, celebratory attitude into the elevated offering.
Spring 2024 sees floral motifs extended throughout. Black tops are finished with statement white roses to the bust, with halter tops featuring rose detailing around the neck. A standout from the women’s collection is the Garavani Rose-Rouche 1959 pumps, which accentuate the heeled silhouette with a leather rose to the rear. These leather blooms are a romantic nod to the Couture tradition inherent to Maison Valentino, a leader in crafting feminine dresses and accessories. On the black silhouette, a white flower provides contrast, and a monochrome red pair sees the floral detailing in a muted red hue.
Other highlights from the women’s collection include the Garavani VLogo Moon bag. Crafted from chic, smooth leather in a crescent-shaped silhouette, a metallic chain is centred with a VLogo, bringing an aesthetically-pleasing, cross-body practicality.
The men’s collection sees a contemporary take on smart-casual dressing, with relaxed tailoring worn with shirts and ties. Brown iridescent bomber jackets are worn with loose-fitting jeans, bringing streetwear sensibilities to the table. On foot, models can be seen wearing Valentino’s Garavani Rockstud Sneakers in a muted white monochrome style and a black and white colourway. Also featured in the collection is the Garavani Loco bag in a soft brown and patterned grey and navy option, complete with V detailing.
