Valentino has launched its Black Tie Collection for Fall/Winter 2023-24, just in time for Double 11, the Chinese holiday that celebrates being single. In honour of the occasion, Valentino has tapped brand ambassador Guan Xiaotong, as well as actors Li Yunrui and Huang Xiyan, to front the red and black-focused collection.
Xiaotong can be seen juxtaposing her elegant demeanour with an underlying punk rebellion throughout the campaign. The striking visual colour palette used on the clothing contrasts with the white background captured in campaign shots. Shirts and tailored overcoats are dressed in the signature “ROSSO” Valentino hue, accented with the new Valentino Garavani Rockstud23 Mini handbag, with studded Valentino Garavani shoes providing contrast.

Textured studs are featured throughout, with the detailing serving as an eternal love for Maison Valentino. The design feature represents a punk attitude that subtly combines sophistication with edginess, crafting a timeless style that exudes both opulence and casual allure.
White pearl earrings and necklaces are worn throughout, which feature the Valentino V logo in rugged metal, contrasting elegance with attitude– a motif which features throughout the collection. Despite the nods to punk, the offering still feels extremely elevated, reflective of the Maison’s glamorous roots.
The Valentino Fall/Winter 2023-24 Black Tie collection is available to shop in the brand’s boutiques, as well as on its online store.
