CELINE’s upcoming drop isn’t just about looking good; it’s about smelling good too. The luxury fashion brand usually known for its elevated indie sleaze aesthetic is teasing a new drop, and this time it’s not featuring lace dresses or leather boots. The upcoming release introduces Hedi Slimane’s latest fragrance for CELINE’s selection of Haute Parfumerie creations: Cologne Céleste.
Cologne Céleste’s composition draws from both its French and Italian origins, blending a classic structure of cologne with citrus, floral and aromatic notes. However, it’s more muted and refined, laced with the tender and delicate tones of neroli, cut with orange blossom which is what gives the fragrance its deep, warm hue.
As a universal fragrance, Cologne Céleste is ungendered, untethered, and unconstrained, blending powdery notes of ambrette butter and orris butter with the sharp and sweet essence of lemon. This is what makes the scent so wearable; its ability to traverse aesthetics and moments, moulding to the wearer.
But not only does the eau de cologne drop on November 16th, so do three additional products to enrich the brand’s bath and body collection initiated by CELINE back in June. A perfumed oil for body and hair, a delicious scented bath milk, and a perfumed solid soap all in the Cologne Céleste fragrance will be also available to purchase.
The collection aims to reconnect us with the art of bathing, something that we definitely appreciate more in the winter months but still don’t get to indulge in nearly enough. CELINE wants to bring back bathing as a ritual using precious milks and rare essences which cleanse, replenish, and relax.
Sink into a warm bath of CELINE’s Cologne Céleste oils and milks this winter, before spraying yourself with the House’s new scent, all launching globally on November 16th online and in CELINE boutiques.
