Nike is a powerhouse when it comes to sneakers, and we only have to look at the recent Dior Air Jordan to see how hyped the brand actually is. With that in mind, we’re taking a look at some of the rarest Nike shoes ever made.
First up, we have the rarest shoe ever produced by the sneaker giant, the ‘moon shoe’. Crafted by Bill Bowerman for the 1972 Olympics, only 12 pairs were ever made with the only known pair selling at Sotheby’s last July for $437,500.
Next up, we have the Nike MAG from 2016. Made famous by Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part II, it features the self-lacing technology from the movie. Only 89 pairs were made making them highly sought after and super rare.
Eminem’s Carhartt and Jordan collab is next on the list. Designed solely for the rapper’s friends and family to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Eminem’s Shady Records, these are almost impossible to bag.
And it’s a similar story for our next rare Nike sneakers.
Travis Scott released a pair of Air Jordans in 2018 that also went to family and friends, making them a hypebeasts dream.
Is there a pair of Nike sneakers you’re dying to get your hands on?
