Quiet luxury doesn’t get much quieter than perfume – I mean, it’s quite literally invisible. Which is why, if there’s a luxury accessory you should invest in, make it a luxury scent. CELINE sure knows this, which is why it’s taking over a space at the heart of Harrods’ beauty hall to bring you the scent of luxury, bottled.

The Haute Parfumerie showcases a selection of eleven new scents, inspired by creative director Hedi Slimane’s olfactory diary, alongside tortoiseshell combs, vanity sets, perfume cases, and soaps which are soon to launch globally; in short, all the essentials for smelling and looking like luxury.

The installation space itself exudes luxury (even without the surrounding scent) thanks to a gold, antique-style, engraved transom that the new French “Haute Parfumerie” collection is laid out beneath. Given that this is CELINE’s first dedicated CELINE Haute Parfumerie outside of Paris, it’s a justly impressive space.

The other thing that quiet luxury just does better is having a scent for every occasion: CELINE’s selection ranges from day to night, featuring scents that speak to the wearer in their own way. One particular note reigns above the rest, a powdery note synonymous with velvety patina. It’s very French elegance, which means it’s so CELINE.

If you’ve ever gotten dressed and wondered what exactly your outfit’s missing, it’s that one crucial accessory we sometimes seem to forget: the spritz of a staple scent. So, make sure to check out the CELINE Haute Parfumerie space in the Harrods Beauty Hall at Door 3.
