The collaboration honours the history and legacy of Italian sportswear and fuses it with One Block Down’s contemporary, narrative-driven approach.
The capsule comprises a D.D. Shell Short Down Jacket, a GORE-TEX 3L Infinium Hooded Jacket, and GORE-TEX 3L Infinium Loose Utility Pants, available in “Fern” and “Bark” colourways. Also being released is a Waffle Jersey Long-sleeved T-shirt, a Reverse Diagonal Sweatshirt, a Lambswool Jacquard Crewneck, a Ski Mask, and a Balaclava in “Snow” and “Race” colourways. No C.P. Company collection would be complete without some serious goggle action, so to finish the collaborative offering, we see a Goggle Beanie in “Fern” and “Bark.”
To celebrate the release, One Block Down put C.P. Company’s technical qualities to the test in the stunning surroundings of the Dolomites in North East Italy. The campaign is centred around the world of racing, which led to the development of the iconic C.P. Company goggles. Drivers can be seen taking to the slopes on lime-green snowmobiles as they race each other across the breathtaking terrain, where the jackets’ insulated properties keep wearers warm as day moves into night.
The extreme sports-focused campaign fuses C.P. Company’s trailblazing sportswear sensibility, which pioneered new garment-dyeing techniques and materials, with One Block Down’s eclectic and culturally in-tune appeal, perfect for a winter wardrobe re-up.
