Drake has announced the release of a new project, Scary Hours 3, taking to Instagram to unveil the news through a dramatic orchestral display.

In a video released on the star’s social media, we see the rapper moving along an empty road in his Maybach. He gives us an insight into his mindset ahead of the release, stating that he feels “no need to please anybody” and is “so confident” in the work he is about to release. He later says he could “disappear for six months, a year, two years, even though [he’s] not super into lengthy disappearances.”

We see the musician enter an empty arena, where he is greeted with a sizable glass of red before descending into the depths of the venue to take a seat by himself. On stage, an Orchestra performs, setting an ominous yet celebratory mood ahead of the project’s release.

The rapper describes the ideas for the project as coming to him “in a way that [he] hasn’t had since If you’re reading this,” adding:I feel like I’m on drugs, I feel like I’m in that mental state without doing anything.” His fourth studio album was seen as a turning point for the rapper and featured songs such as “Know Yourself.”

The news of the project arrives shortly after For All The Dogs, which was released on October 6 this year, a 23-track album that ranked at Number 1 on the Official Album Chart, marking the Toronto rapper’s sixth UK Number 1.

While Drake may not be in the business of pleasing anybody, we can be sure his latest release will please his fans.
