Another big collaboration Moncler tapped into was with Mercedes-Benz, unveiling a colossal co-created G-Class presented as Project Mondo G. The heavy-duty G wagon was decorated with a glossy reflective surface resembling Moncler’s signature puffers on its wheels and rooftop. The piece, which weighed over 2.5 tonnes, also featured Moncler’s logo on the front header as well as having a giant zipper running along the roof.

With production of the collaborative piece taking place over the span of a year, Project Mondo G was a showstopper. Speaking on the matter, member of Mercedes-Benz’s board of management Britta Seeger stated “It’s not something you would imagine from the automotive industry, so we wanted to take things to a different level”.

Using its platform yet again to create innovation collaborations, Moncler’s The Art Of Genius event was another successful showcase based on thinking outside the box. Reimagining accepted designs and twisting them into an unexpected result, Moncler continues to challenge the way in which creativity is expressed.
