Fashion has been flirting with football for a while now, with the beautiful game blossoming from Saturday sport escapism to the mood boards of some of the biggest fashion Houses in the world, including Louis Vuitton. Last month, during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton took over the UNESCO headquarters, and the Damier printed lawns were transformed into Pharrell’s Lovers United’s home ground. And with the England vs Spain Euros 2024 final on Sunday, there's no better time to revisit these Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 looks.

The looks in question? Pharrell's fashion five-a-side belters. We got a collared leather football jersey featuring Lovers United branding, fictional “LV Airways” sponsorships, and an LV football crest. It was finished with matching shorts and flappy-tongue footie sneakers for maximum sport-meets-style points. Later, track tops were crafted from deconstructed footballs and stamped with “LV FC” match ball branding and Blossom emblems in a white and green colourway.

Pharrell’s tenure at Louis Vuitton has seen some super sick (and expensive) bags produced in the Maison’s classic Monogram. His SS24 debut saw branded leather boat bags on the runway, but he hasn’t stopped there. In June 2023, Williams took to the streets of Paris clutching LV’s “Millionaire Speedy,” a made-to-order gold strap and diamond-encrusted take on the classic carrier that has a price tag of $1,000,000. So when it came to SS25, Pharrell served up a Monogrammed football-shaped bag just in time for the Euros.

Football goes beyond Pharrell’s runway looks and onto the front row, with Trent Alexander Arnold, Jude Bellingham, and Marcus Rashford all pulling up to Pharrell’s LV shows in the past. And if Ollie Watkins scores another screamer, we reckon a Monogram football bag would go down great as a post-Euros treat.

Anyway, if your mate pulls up to the pub in an LV Lovers kit to watch the final, they’ve probably won the lottery. Whether you think it’s coming home or you’re a keepy-uppy-averse hater of the beautiful game, Pharell’s Louis Vuitton footie kits prove fashion’s fascination with football isn’t going anywhere.
