Lucien Laviscount and Schweppes are enjoying the moment

The British actor and 'Emily in Paris' star has been announced as the latest ambassador for Schweppes.

Lucien Laviscount has come a long way since his early days on British television, but don't expect him to cringe at any questionable outfits from along the way.

The British actor and 'Emily in Paris' star has been announced as the latest ambassador for Schweppes, fronting the drinks brand's new global campaign, "With Time Comes Taste". Centred around the idea that our preferences become more personal as we get older, the campaign encourages people to slow things down and appreciate the smaller moments in life.

For Laviscount, that idea extends to everything from his career to his evolving personal style. While most of us would probably prefer to erase at least a few old outfit photos from existence, the actor has no interest in regretting his previous fashion choices, arguing that every era has played a part in developing his taste today.

"With my fashion choices over the years, I don't look back at old outfits with regret," Laviscount says. "Every phase, every look... every questionable look, have all played a part in what I wear today."

The campaign also sees Laviscount reflect on his journey as an actor and his ongoing passion for storytelling. Having built a career that has taken him from British television to international projects, he says his focus remains on doing what he loves and continuing to tell stories through his work.

Alongside Laviscount's appointment, Schweppes is introducing its new Cherry Pepper Soda, an unexpected combination of sour cherry and a subtle hit of black pepper. Designed for drinkers looking to experiment with more adventurous flavours, the latest addition brings a playful edge to the brand's traditionally sophisticated image.

As for what growing older has taught Laviscount, it seems simplicity is becoming increasingly important. "Over time, you also start to appreciate the little things more, good company, great drinks and just enjoying the moment," he explains.

It's a fitting sentiment for an actor whose career continues to evolve. Whether it's his approach to fashion, acting or everyday life, Laviscount appears increasingly comfortable trusting his own taste, questionable outfits and all.
