This weekend in London, streetwear brand CERA (aka CORRUPTED ERA) is hitting up Dukes Cupboard Vintage in Soho for a pop-up featuring the brand’s viral French tapestry sweaters. Dukes Cupboard Vintage will be transforming the interior of its store between 11am-8pm on Saturday April 27th, from a hub for hidden vintage gems to your number one destination for the in-demand streetwear styles from Parisian streetwear brand, CERA, including the one and only ‘NIGO’ sweater. Hit up Soho this Saturday for the pop-up.

Crepe City is coming to Manchester

Crepe City is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and as part of the celebrations, it is bringing the Crepe City goodness to Manchester on April 28. This is the fifth time they will have hosted an event north of London, and as well as some solid sneakers excitement, the event will welcome AK GRAMM and TONE RARRI to their Habitat stage, as well as Manchester hip-hop artists Black Josh. Porsche SCOPES has announced the final lineup for its festival in Marseille, bringing leading figures in the fields of art, design, music, technology, and social topics to the South of France. The event will showcase the work of over 40 artists based in, or connected to Marseille, bringing the coastal location alive with installations, performances and concerts. Some of our favourites from the lineup include Coucou Chloe, and Maraboutage. The event will run from April 28-26. Find out more here

Jamie Reid’s iconic artworks are being shown in Brighton

A new exhibition is opening tomorrow in Brighton, titled “Jamie Reid, A Lifetime of Radical Gestures.” As the late artistic mastermind behind the iconic visual style of the Sex Pistols, Jamie Reid’s impact on punk culture, and pop culture, has been reverberating since the ‘70s. His controversial artwork, featuring political figureheads from the Queen to Donald Trump, has become iconic in recent history, immediately recognisable for many people. After sadly passing in August 2023, aged 76, Jamie Reid’s art and life is being celebrated by Brighton’s Enter Gallery from April 25th until May 2nd. SMOKESTAK gets wine drunk with Wasted Wine Club

Hit up Shoreditch this week for the launch of restaurant SMOKESTAK’s boozy collaboration with Wasted Wine Club, on its first signature wine: SMOKESTAK RED. Wasted Wine Club was founded by Angelo van Dyk as a ways to make wine distribution more sustainable, by taking excess wine off of wine producers’ hands and repurposing them for other brands and restaurants. The SMOKESTAK RED is a South African red that will be celebrated with a local style braai where SMOKESTAK classics will be available to order, alongside South African inspired specials. FENDI opens a luxury boutique in Cannes

This April, luxury Italian brand FENDI revealed a brand new boutique in Cannes, located in the Côte d’Azur. If you’re hitting up the French Riviera anytime soon, make sure to step into FENDI’s two-story luxury shopping experience, featuring a VIP room and private terrace with a view of the Croisette seaside. Inside the store you’ll find FENDI’s iconic handbags displayed in embossed fabric niches, as well as a selection of ready-to-wear and accessories spanning womenswear and menswear. Whether you’re hitting up Cannes for its upcoming film festival or taking a relaxed trip to the French Riviera this summer, make sure to hit up FENDI’s new boutique. 

Talking Textures exhibition shines a light on SWANA hair

Talking Textures is the London-based exhibition that was hosted last weekend in celebration of the cultural identity of South West Asian and North African (SWANA) hair textures, styles, and types. With an aim of starting commentaries around the Eurocentric beauty standards and cultural identity within SWANA communities, the exhibition features visual, photographic depictions of the personal experiences within SWANA communities around hair, directed by Yasemin Hassan and photographed by Yeliz Zaifoglu. Whether you have a personal relationship with the subject Talking Texture’s exhibition aims to spotlight, or just want to learn more about how SWANA individuals engage with and discuss their hair, head to Talking Texture’s IG to see what went down.

Flow Festival Helsinki reveals its 2024 lineup

Flow Festival Helsinki, the annual music festival hosted in – you guessed it – Helsinki, Finland. For its 20th Anniversary, Flow Festival Helsinki is inviting a bumper array of names to the city this August, including Halsey, Janelle Monáe, Vince Staples, Aurora, Barry Can’t Swim, and more. Adding these to its already announced list of Fred again.., PULP, RAYE, and PJ Harvey, the festival is set to be one Europe’s biggest this summer, and it doesn’t just host music artists. Flow Festival Helsinki also includes talks, exhibitions, mouth-watering food & drink and more to keep you entertained for the full weekend. Cernucci is popping up in Manchester

Following the success of its London event last year, Cernucci is heading up north with a jewellery pop-up in Manchester. The location makes perfect sense for the brand, which has previously linked up with Manchester City legend Phil Foden. The pop-up will be held at The Avenue in Spinningfields (M3 3AP) on Saturday April 27 from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. 

Grace Gui and APOC Store Open an Exhibit at NEO Miami

Grace Gui is a Brooklyn farm-to-fashion knitwear project by Grace Wang, using materials sourced from female independent farmers and artisans. Now, she is hosting a shoppable exhibition using accessories from the APOC Store at NEO Miami for the whole month of May. If this sounds like a bit of you, make sure you head down while you can. 

Get ready for Wings For Life’s ultra-inclusive running event

If last weekend’s London Marathon left you longing to lace up your running shoes and hit the road, then fear not. The Wings For Life World Run is back, giving participants a chance to all start at the same time, with no set distance. The results aren’t measured in time, but in distance achieved, and the best about it all is that 100% of the entry fees go directly to Spinal Cord Research.
