Another week, another roundup. As we hurtle towards February (where did January go?) we reflect on another week of collaborations, capsules and campaigns from some of our favourite brands and artists. This week, COS X YEBOAH hosted a star studded immersive event, Moncler dropped their FW23 Skiwear collection and Jack Grealish entered Roblox’s Gucci Town.

KELVYN COLT DROPS ‘EYE4EYE’

German rapper Kelvyn Colt has unleashed his latest single ‘EYE4EYE’ from his forthcoming EP ‘GERMAN ANGST’, which drops in March. The rapper has already gained recognition from industry leaders such as Gunna and Charlie Sloth and has since bagged collabs with the likes of Louis Vuitton and Nike. ‘EYE4EYE’ is an ode to betrayal and revenge, as raw lyrics blend seamlessly with a solid, lively beat.

DSQUARED2 CAPSULE CHAMPIONS BOB MARLEY FOUNDATION 

Dsquared2 have partnered with the Bob Marley Foundation to bring us a range of exclusive pieces within their SS23 collection including t-shirts, bags, denim and sweatshirts emblazoned with colourful, custom graphics, combined with nostalgic portraits and quotes such as “My Home is in My Head” by the legendary 70’s reggae artist.

LOEWE’S ODE TO HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE

Loewe’s final collaborative collection with beloved Studio Ghlibi film ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ is finally here, and it’s just what we needed. Featuring a Juergen Teller shot campaign with Taylor Russell, we ca expect appearances from key characters such as Sophie, Howl, fire demon Calcifer, as well as Markl, Heen, Turnip Head, and the Witch of Waste – all of whom appear on a colourful range of bags, small leather goods, jumpers, jackets, and shirts.

CARHARTT WIP SS23

Focusing on function, florals and hardwearing fabrics like Dearborn Canvas, denim and twill, Carhartt WIP’s SS23 collection pays homage to the label’s classic, easy archival silhouettes whilst nodding to mid-90’s NYC and hip-hop aesthetic elements. The accompanying look book is relaxed and cohesive and yet rich with graphic-focused detail, playful colours and quality fabrics.

GIVENCHY’S GLITTERING SS23 CAMPAIGN

Spearheaded by Mather M. Williams, historic house Givenchy has just dropped its Spring-Summer 2023 campaign, captured by Haji Shin and featuring a star-studded cast including Gigi Hadid wearing key looks from the collection. Bonus points for spotting the statement bag of the season, the ‘Voyou’, an relaxed hobo silhouette perfect for everyday versatility. Blending Parisian elegance with American easy sports elements, for SS23 both aesthetics came together as one for Givenchy.

STUSSY & TEKLA HIT HOMEWARE HEIGHTS

Homeware just got interesting. Renewed causal wear leaders Stüssy have reignited their partnership with Tekla, dropping a fresh range of bedding, sleepwear and bathrobes fit for a trip to the beach or a cosy night in. This season, quality and culture came in clutch and the duo have dripped a limited new ‘vibrant berry’ colour way (in Tekla’s classic high quality cotton) alongside a brand new natural striped bathrobe.

GREALISH ENTERS GUCCI TOWN 

As if Gucci’s Roblox residence ‘Gucci Town’ couldn’t get any better, they just enlisted fan favourite footballer Jack Grealish as to visit the famed game town as a brand new ambassador. Gucci Town, which includes a virtual garden, museum, and shop offering items for your avatar (including digital Gucci bags and pieces) can now count Grealish as one of their newest residents, to the delight of Roblox players everywhere.

COS X YEBOAH UNVEIL METAMORPHOSIS

Cos and YEBOAH just took their collaboration to immersive levels with the unveiling of their experimental presentation in London last night. The showing of the street-luxe, elevated wardrobe staple collection was complimented kaleidoscopic backdrops, a performance form renowned poet James Messiah and a glittering list of attendees including Ricardo Tisci, Naomi Campbell and Edward Enninful.
