Bao is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with Dover Street Market

Bao is bringing a pop-up kiosk to Dover Street Market to celebrate the Year of The Dragon with signature baked goods. The restaurant brand has teamed up with Carhartt WIP for a DSM-exclusive short and long-sleeve T-shirt, illustrated with BAO’s signature Lonely Man with a curving dragon tattoo across his back. 

The event will also see an array of collaborative bags, shoes and hats with Simone Rocha, SHUSHU/TONG, and Deathmask. As part of the activation, guests will be able to snack while they shop with a host of Bao niceness. The Bao kiosk will be open from Thursday, 25 January, to Sunday, 11 February. 

LORENZ.OG is throwing a 110 AIR in Colour pop-up

If you’ve been dying to get your hands on LORENZ.OG’s famed catalogue, now you have a chance. There will be 100 units of the Nike Air Max 95 in two colourways signed off by Mr Lorenzo Federici’s “Patented Colour-scheme,” which will be around the leaves and the mesh, as well as a Dusk and Volcano pack that will be only be available to those who hold a golden ticket. 

To get a golden ticket, you have to be following @LORENZ.OG on Instagram, where a location will be announced away from the pop-up space ahead of time. Only 100 tickets will be distributed, and those lucky enough to get one will be able to get their pair ahead of the exhibition’s opening on January 27. The pop-up will be held at 59 Greek Street and will be held from Saturday 27-Sunday 28.

Philip Colbert’s “House of The Lobster” is opening in Naples

British pop artist Philip Colbert, in partnership with the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, is launching “House of The Lobster,” a site-specific exhibition which marks Colbert’s first exhibition with an archaeological institution. Colbert has created a series of marble and bronze sculptures, as well as large-scale oil paintings (which incorporate artificial intelligence) in conversation with the antiquities in the museum, such as the Darius and Alexander Battle and marine mosaics. The collection pays homage to the origins of lobster mythology through a collection of mosaics excavated from Pompeii. The exhibition will run between January 26 and April 1. Pearl Lam is collaborating with sketch

Contemporary art collector Pearl Lam is partnering with one of Mayfair’s most Instagram-able spots, sketch. The partnership will see Lam’s eponymous gallery feature three exhibitions by Chinese artists Danful Yang, Zhu Peihong, architect Lilyo Zhao, and British artist Mr Doodle. The series of installations will run from January 23 till July 21, so be sure to check this one out while you can. 

Mason Newman has a new exhibition coming to London

Mason Newman, the Birmingham-born artist, has unveiled his debut solo exhibition, “Hi Friend,” at The Sidings in Waterloo. The exhibition opens on February 3 and will run for a month. According to Newman’s Instagram, it will feature 40 Original Canvases, 100 Dollar Bills, and Merchandise, and for each original piece, there will be signed prints in 3 sizes. Pop this one in your calendars now – it’ll be a good one.

Satellite Gallery is debuting in London

Satellite Gallery is the reincarnation of Satellite Store, now in the form of a nomadic gallery that will be hosting exhibitions globally in London, New York, Tokyo and beyond. Its debut show, “ARRIVAL,” will arrive in London on February 2 and will feature work from artist’s and contributors who have been a part of Satellite’s journey so far. The event will be held across two days, with a day viewing taking place on February 3. 

Fashion Art and More is popping up in Milan

Fashion, Art and More, the international Luxury Event, is back for its 18th edition at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan for Fashion Week, taking place on the 25 January. The event is organised by Wellness for You Fashion by Sabrina Spinelli, which boasts over 25 years of experience in the fashion and luxury sector, allowing fashionistas to discover the latest creations from Made in Italy brands.
