Will The American Influencer Council Influence Europe?

Influencers have joined forces and formed the American Influencer Council. Aiming to improve “business dynamics within the influencer marketing industry”, founder Qianna Smith Bruneteau states “the AIC and our Founding Members are right on time to usher in a new era of legitimacy for career influencers”
But this has got us thinking… will Europe follow suit?
Writer and fashion commentator Louis Pisano thinks the AIC is a great initiative, and told CULTED: “I think on the European level, the AIC could influence a similar initiative”.
“There are so many things I find inconsistent and in need of improvement as far as European influencing goes.”
But, these changes might not be seen everywhere.
“In Italy, I don’t think anyone will be influenced or impressed by the AIC enough to start an initiative.” Pisano continues. “For the most part Italian fashion influencers don’t like to make waves or get political & I really do not see it improving inter-community relations as it pertains to inclusivity. Even with Black Lives Matter still taking place on an international level the influencer community in Italy and specifically Milan has stayed segregated.”
