Hyunjin became a Versace Global Brand Ambassador earlier this year, and now stars in his first-of-many campaigns to come. The K-pop star highlights the unbelievable feeling of his Versace fit, stating: “Versace is exactly how I want the Holiday season to be.”
Hyunjin is seen introducing a new Versace bag, the Athena tote bag, highlighting the House’s opulent Barocco print on an everyday companion. The print was first introduced on the runway in 1991, where Gianni Versace took the ancient Greek-inspired pattern infused with Baroque art influences and brought it into the Versace universe of Italian elegance and extravagance.
The Barocco tone-on-tone jacquard can also be spotted on the Odissea sneakers and a double-breasted tailored jacket worn by Hyunjin. Amelia Gray also sports the motif found on the Athena tote bag, as well as a trench coat, showcasing the print’s versatility.
In the video campaign, filmed by fashion photographer and videographer Rosie Marks, the Athena tote can be seen partaking in typical Holiday activities, such as receiving a kiss under the mistletoe. It also highlights other pieces from Versace’s Holiday 2023 collection, with models Hedi Ben Tekaya and Sacha Quenby joining the party.
