Valentino leaves its Italian vine scapes and bustling metropolises behind and sets its sails to China to celebrate the Chinese New Year, without forgetting to bring its essenza. To celebrate the 2024 Chinese New Year, the Italian Maison has thought up a new collection utilising one of its signature colours, Rosso Valentino.

The 2024 Chinese New Year will mark the start of the Year of the Dragon. The spirit of its fierce spit of fire and commanding stature is captured and embodied by Valentino. The symbolic red colour can be found on new season classics, such as the Garavani VLogo Signature slingback, the Garavani Locò mini and bucket bag, and the Garavani VLogo Moon mini bag.

The VLogo becomes a centrepiece of the collection, further defined by the Rosso Valentino hue. The vibrant bleeds into every element of the collection, including its ready-to-wear pieces. Over in the womenswear department, brand ambassador Yang Zi sports a monogrammed overshirt, as a little red dress that has been coquette-ified with the addition of three sparkling bows on the chest.

Yang Yang, also a brand ambassador, models the menswear portion of this collection, which includes a Valentino classic VLogo jacket, the Garavani One Stud sneakers, and the Valentino Garavani VLogo tote.

Fully decked out in Rosso Valentino, the Italian Maison’s Chinese New Year collection takes on tradition and makes it fashion, kickstarting the new year with style and good fortune. Head over to Valentino’s website to shop the collection.
