Moncler has always been the master of outerwear and its Grenoble Pre-Fall 2023 collection gave us the reminder we didn’t need but love to see anyway.
The goal for Moncler is to get you to spend time outside, no matter what the weather is. This season, the exploration of nature is a clear inspiration for the luxury brand, with a fluffy, mossy green hooded zipped fleece and an earthy khaki taking centre-stage on a Gore-Tex shell jacket and its matching trousers and shorts.
This season, Moncler got experimental with it, giving us swirly topographic map-style prints on an updated version of the Peyrus jacket. It’s mountaineering gear at its finest that was born from the French alpine ranges, specifically the city of Grenoble, which lent its name to the collection and its coordinates as graphics used throughout. The signature Trailgrip sneakers that our gorpcore collectors can’t get enough of are also receiving a makeover, this time in an earthy khaki colourway.
The bold and technical elements of the collection are followed into the womenswear pieces, that includes packable windbreakers, a teddy fleece, an insulated gilet and leggings, found in neutral, earthy colours as well as a pop of hot pink. The Tetras jacket, a classic for all your forest-deep discoveries, gets a camel buckle belt at the waist, decorated with a flashy carabiner.
Finishing off the collection with all the hiking accessories you could ask for, from belt bags to bucket hats, Moncler has us ready to explore the trail that lies ahead.
