Audemars Piguet has introduced three new additions to its Code 11.59 collection, bringing together intricate mechanical engineering, precious metals and natural stone. The latest releases include a 41mm Minute Repeater Supersonnerie alongside two smaller 38mm Selfwinding models, each offering a different interpretation of the Swiss watchmaker's signature design.

Among the new arrivals are two 38mm timepieces that place natural materials at the centre of their design. The first features an 18-carat yellow gold case paired with a gold obsidian dial, finished with a sunburst pattern that draws attention to the stone's distinctive mineral formations. Yellow gold detailing, a brown inner bezel and a black alligator strap complete the design.

The second introduces a darker aesthetic, combining an 18-carat pink gold case with a polished black onyx dial. Baguette-cut diamond hour markers, weighing approximately 0.37 carats in total, provide contrast against the stone's glossy surface, while pink gold hands and a black alligator strap complete the watch.

Both 38mm models house Audemars Piguet's automatic Calibre 5909 movement, delivering a 60-hour power reserve. Each measures 9.6mm thick and features a double-curved sapphire crystal.

Completing the new releases is the 41mm Code 11.59 Minute Repeater Supersonnerie, which showcases the brand's expertise in mechanical sound. Constructed from 18-carat white gold, the watch features a smoked sapphire dial that partially exposes its internal movement, complemented by silver-toned detailing and a grey alligator strap.

Inside sits the manually wound Calibre 2953, a movement made up of 362 components with a 72-hour power reserve. Its minute repeater mechanism allows the wearer to activate a sequence of chimes indicating the time, using Audemars Piguet's patented Supersonnerie technology to amplify the sound.

Originally introduced in 2016, the technology uses a specialised soundboard and caseback construction to improve acoustic performance, drawing on years of research into the relationship between watchmaking and sound.

The three new Code 11.59 models continue Audemars Piguet's exploration of traditional craftsmanship through contemporary design, offering everything from natural stone finishes to highly technical complications.

Further information on the new releases can be found through Audemars Piguet's official website and boutiques.
