Steff Eleoff’s drip-inspired jewellery offers mind-boggling designs I can’t stop gushing over. Based in Toronto, Canada, the self-taught designer and silversmith started her eponymous jewellery brand a year ago. Since, she has created a transparent brand which allows her consumers to share her journey from conceptualizing to crafting.
Inspired by nature and architecture, the emerging designer turns to the beauty of her surroundings to create striking pieces. Once she has pinned down her inspiration, Eleoff begins to sketch before producing and crafting her pieces by hand. Constantly evolving alongside her community, SE is “rooted in the value of designing and creating art with the goal to accessorize”. SE’s process of jewellery making is just as much the designer’s as it is the consumers’.
Shot by Nelson Huang and directed by Eleoff herself, SE’s latest campaign features statement rings, earrings and a ‘Drip Hip Chain’. All made from sterling silver, SE’s avant-garde pieces have a futuristic and malleable look while maintaining that too cool to care aesthetic. Priced between CAD$100 and CAD$550, the human-made pieces feel like a natural extension of the body, while adding a bold yet fun take on accessorizing. Even e-boys and e-girls, always looking for the next best jewellery, are sporting the look.
