



‘Scarce Air’ is the latest online auction launched by Sotheby’s and will showcase 50 of the rarest Nike sneakers ever made, with a value of US$800,000.
The is a bonafide treasure trove of Nike sneakers, featuring both rare Jordans to exclusives made for celebrities. Highlights include the ‘Colette’ Jordan 1’s, signed Nike Air Yeezy 2 mismatched samples, Drake’s Air Jordan 11’s, Eminem’s ‘Encore’ Air Jordan 4 as well as his Carhartt collaboration and much more.
To present the sale, Sotheby’s has partnered up with sneaker store English Sole. In a statement, Brahm Wachter, head of Sotheby’s streetwear and Modern collectables said “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with English Sole to present this carefully curated group of extremely rare sneakers, some of which have never surfaced in a public auction before. The collection is remarkably diverse, and touches everything from music to art, to design and fashion”.
