This is one of the most beautiful lookbook's I have seen in a minute.
Clarks Originals is bringing back one of its lesser-known archive silhouettes, reintroducing the Wallabee Lite for Autumn/Winter 2026 with an updated build that places comfort and everyday wear at the forefront. First released in 1986, the silhouette returns with modern performance upgrades while preserving the design language that made the original a cult favourite.
While the Wallabee remains one of Clarks' most recognisable shoes, the Wallabee Lite has always occupied a different lane. Created as a more functional take on the classic moccasin, the model swapped the traditional crepe sole for a lightweight EVA outsole, giving wearers increased comfort and durability without losing the instantly recognisable Wallabee profile.
For its latest revival, Clarks Originals has returned to the archives, using the 1986 version as the blueprint for a refreshed construction. The new iteration introduces a high-density EVA sole inspired by the original model but re-engineered to improve cushioning, reduce weight and increase durability. A removable foam footbed has also been added, further reinforcing the shoe's focus on all-day comfort.
Elsewhere, the upper stays true to the Wallabee's heritage. Premium suede construction is paired with two interchangeable lace options, allowing for a more personalised finish, while heat-embossed Clarks Originals fobs, heel branding and a branded sock liner preserve the details long associated with the silhouette.
Launching in a palette that balances understated staples with brighter seasonal options, the collection arrives in Maple, Cola, Grey, Black and Red suede colourways. The updated construction is designed to deliver greater flexibility and durability without sacrificing the craftsmanship that has defined Clarks Originals for generations.
The Clarks Originals Wallabee Lite launches globally on 24 July through Clarks stores, the brand's website and selected retailers, with prices starting at £75.
