Corteiz and Nike are expanding their collaborative footwear catalogue, officially revealing the Shox R419 "Game Royal," a new interpretation of the sportswear giant's early 2000s running silhouette.
Following successful releases centred around the Air Max 95 and Air Trainer Huarache, the latest project sees Clint419's London-based streetwear label turn its attention to the Nike Shox R4. This time, the partnership draws inspiration from the automotive world, incorporating design elements associated with high-performance vehicles into the shoe's construction.
Arriving in a striking "Game Royal" colourway, the Shox R419 maintains the distinctive cushioning system that made the original silhouette instantly recognisable. However, Corteiz has significantly reworked the upper, introducing raised horizontal detailing across the toe box and side panels. Carbon fibre-inspired overlays add another layer to the design, referencing the sleek finishes and technical materials commonly found in modern sports cars.
The automotive influences extend into the finer details, with Corteiz introducing several custom branding elements throughout the sneaker. A red "C," styled in Nike's signature Shox typography, appears on the tongue alongside "CRTZ SHOX" lettering, while a translucent heel panel reveals "R419" branding beneath its surface.
Elsewhere, multicoloured engine-inspired graphics decorate the insoles, reinforcing the collection's motorsport aesthetic. Each pair also comes with a Corteiz-branded bolt washer accessory, adding a further reference to the mechanical influences behind the design.
The Corteiz x Nike Shox R419 ‘Game Royal’ is expected to release during the Holiday 2026 season, with further details surrounding pricing and availability yet to be confirmed.
