Jonathan Anderson is continuing to establish his vision for Dior, introducing a new footwear silhouette as part of the French fashion house's Spring 2027 collection.
Dubbed the Dior Ribbon, the latest release takes inspiration from traditional running shoes, combining vintage sportswear references with contemporary design details. The result is a lightweight, low-profile sneaker that introduces a more casual approach to Dior's footwear offering.
One of the silhouette's defining features is its distinctive ribbon branding, which pays homage to the house's footwear heritage. The Dior name appears across the side of selected iterations, while other versions incorporate the branding directly into the sole. Metallic accents, fabric lining and technical finishes add further detail to the design.
The sneaker arrives in a selection of colourways, ranging from understated neutral tones to brighter combinations. Leather and suede feature throughout the collection, with contrasting textures bringing additional depth to the silhouette. Elsewhere, Dior's signature Oblique monogram makes an appearance on a separate iteration.
With the Dior Ribbon, Anderson continues to explore the relationship between the house's established design codes and everyday dressing, introducing a versatile silhouette that draws from the past while looking towards the future.
