Red Bull’s Half Court tournament went down over the weekend, with teams from all over the country coming together to play in the nation’s most competitive street basketball event. The winners – Tigers from the men’s competition and London Sol from the women’s – secured their spot at the global finals held in Moscow in September, where competitors from across the globe will be battling it out for the world title.
Both the Tigers and London Sol won all but one of their games, showcasing formidable talent and drive to beat off other amazing teams. Tigers won a close game over last year’s winners to take the crown after losing a player to injuries early on in the tournament, and reigning champs London Sol went on to win the tourney once again and retain their title.
September’s event is the climax of a massive tournament circuit, with over 15,000 teams competing in total from over 20 countries – you can check out the highlights from the weekend here.
