You thought Diesel was already raunchy? Wait till you see what they’ve got in the pipeline for Pride. Teaming up with The Community and Tom of Finland Foundation, the three are getting together to present the LGBTQIA+ erotically-charged exhibition titled The AllTogether Clubhouse.

The AllTogether Clubhouse isn’t a totally new concept. Last year, The Community, Tom of Finland Foundation and Diesel held a public exhibition just outside of LA showcasing the Foundation’s collection of super sexy queer art, and two curated shows that travelled to Venice and Paris. Now, the exhibition is heading to NYC with a brand new curation that dives into the city’s rich queer history.

Not only is New York an epicentre for the LGBTQIA+ community to live their best life, it’s also the birthplace of the Tom of Finland Foundation. By a stroke of fate, businessman and film director Durk Dhener found one of Finish artist Tom of Finland’s bootleg posters in a leather bag, and 8 years later, the Tom of Finland Foundation was born. While the Foundation initially focused on the artist’s work, the scope widened to all kinds of queer artists in NYC as the AIDS epidemic was threatening to erase years and years of their life’s work.

The Tom of Finland Foundation has now become one of the biggest collectors of queer art in the world, and The AllTogether Clubhouse will be celebrating it. An open space for freedom of expression, sexuality and above all – love, the exhibition will also showcase works by artists like Arthur Tess and Pet Silvia, and artefacts of the NYC scenes such as the Stompers, the Piers and S.T.H., the iconic Boyd McDonald-published gay non-fiction zine.

And that’s not even scratching the surface of what The AllTogether Clubhouse will present. There will be talks, screening, performances and concerts by those who continue to shape NYC’s queer life, from Linda Simpson’s “The Drag Explosion” slideshow to conversations between founder of the nightlife host space The Spectrum, Gage Spex and the queer space RAGGA founder Christopher Udemezue (AKA Neon Christina).

It wouldn’t be a Diesel-endorsed moment without a sprinkle of clothing somewhere in the mix, which is why the denim brand will also be launching a collaborative Pride 2023 capsule with the Tom of Finland Foundation. Celebrating freedom and individualism at its most queer, the 2023 Diesel x Tom of Finland Foundation Pride collection will give us a load of tees and denim pieces (obviously), as well as (of course) jockstraps, featuring influential photographs of the queer community doing what they do best – being unapologetically themselves with a whole load of pride.

The AllTogether Clubhouse exhibition will be open to the public in NYC’s West Village at 9 West 8th Street from June 21 to 25, and the collection will drop on Diesel’s website and stores from June.
