Congratulations are in order! Yesterday, Priya Ahluwalia was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. The award was presented during a virtual ceremony by the Countess of Wessex.

In a statement, the British fashion Council said that Ahluwalia had been chosen for the award for her “her focus on craftsmanship and community. Her sustainably minded menswear collections, made of dead stock and repurposed locally sourced vintage materials, combine elements and influences from her Nigerian and Indian heritage, making her designs truly unique.”

Her designs and craftsmanship, as well as her commitment to sustainability, are outstanding and we’re excited to see what the designer does next!
