S.S.DALEY is the latest brand to head to Florence, as the second guest designer to present its Men’s Fall collection at the upcoming 105th edition of Pitti Uomo.
Taking place in Florence in the Fortezza de Basso venue, this edition of the bi-annual menswear trade show has already announced Luca Magliano of MAGLIANO as one of its guest designers, now adding the British designer to the roster.
Steven Stokey-Daley founded his eponymous label in 2020 built upon representing the working class, challenging gender norms, notably by adding a queer flair to his creations. This upcoming show will be the young designer’s debut at a Pitti Uomo show, bringing reimagined Britishness to Italy.
The Special Events Coordinator at Pitti Immagine Uomo, Francesca Tacconi, spoke about the designer, stating “He is certainly no stranger to adventure, this well-educated boy from Liverpool: from his success in dressing global popstar Harry Styles to the prestige of the LVMH Young Fashion Designer prize.” She added “Giving him an opportunity to showcase his stories and project them towards the future.”
S.S.DALEY will join the lengthy and talented rosters of designers that have featured at Pitti Uomo, including ERL’s Eli Russell Linnetz and Grace Wales Bonner of Wales Bonner.
