The collection is inspired by Moncler’s “The Art of Genius” London Fashion Week Event, which saw thousands of fashion fans take part in an immersive event with professional party throwers Boiler Room. Fast Forward to October, and you get a collection rooted in the themes of jovial effervescence, portraying liberated partygoers that float through each frame.
The gender-neutral collection was designed by Palm Angels Creative Director Francesco Ragazzi with his fascination with vintage and Americana archetypes in mind. Cable-knit sweaters, cable puffers and aged leather biker jackets exemplify this modern design sensibility that is rooted in the past.
Further Americana nods are seen in a varsity jacket that comes in block stripes and incorporates polo shirts into the oversized, padded style. Further highlights from the collection include printed puffer jackets and cargo pants complete with cricket stripes, which fuse with relaxed skater jeans and tracksuit bottoms to introduce a relaxed vibe.
Outdoor-style boots also feature in the collection, complete with contrast rubber detailing and provide a switch up to the varsity themes seen in other items, completing the preppy-meets-outdoors display.
The Moncler x Palm Angels collection will be available on moncler.com and palmangels.com, and in select Moncler and Palm Angels boutiques from October 26.
