THE SKY’S THE LIMIT FOR CLOSED X MILLINSKY
Closed has come together with Alexandre Daillance (aka Millinsky) to not only curate a three-piece menswear collection – but to also remind us of the importance of togetherness.
The Parisian creative began this project with one thing in mind – the desire to design an artistic reiteration of the European values which unite all of us. A sentiment certainly and slickly translated within the collaboration. The collection features a cap, a t-shirt and hoodie – all of which showcase a unique typographic logo designed by Millinsky. The capsule’s colour story of different shades of blue on the logo resonate nicely with its overall theme – a reminder of the joy of connection, collaboration and of coming together.
The collection is available now – exclusively on the Closed website.
BTW – BMX & MERCEDES-AMG IS WHERE IT IS AT:
Peek behind the curtain and catch a glimpse of what it is like to be a professional BMX rider – thanks to Mercedes-AMG and the boundless skill of Nigel Sylvester. The pair are prepared to dare – as AMG Uncovered captures Sylvester discussing the process of mapping out his own blueprint for BMX riding, his love for AMG and, of course, executing immensely tricky tricks. The short film unveiled the beauty of BMX riding for Sylvester – who described it as his truest form of creativity and expression, and as the opportunity to bring his dreams into reality.
This, and so much more, can be discovered by watching the video here – and who knows, maybe you have a knack for it too…
STRAP IN – DON’T LACE UP: DIESEL’S NEW ‘PROTOTYPE’
If you are looking for a little ‘sole’ fulfilling this November, get yourself over to Diesel – who once again, has all of the answers. The brand’s iconic Prototype sneaker is under new protocol – this is the Prototype CR. The sneaker release witnesses the evolution of the Prototype’s classic silhouette and introduces an innovative, and experimental shape. A graphic colour pattern, heightened by a web of straps that work to merge the sole and the upper of the shoe.

STUSSY UP YOUR LIFE WITH DRIES VAN NOTEN
Whispers of a certain collab have begun to permeate our timelines – and we are all ears. The rumours of a creative partnership between Stussy and Dries Van Noten may seem like something only real in your dreams – but the brand’s Instagram revealed yesterday that dreams can come true. Having already being teased by ASAP Nast, the collection’s announcement came in the form of a video – featuring the legendary Flea stretching on a bed while sporting an Illuminati-esque bomber jacket and electric pink hair. Just a taste of what’s to come – the collab is set to contain caps with the iconic Stussy 8-ball on them, and black hoodies with neon green outlined flames on the sleeve.
Keep your eyes peeled for any more updates…
AMBUSH US ANYDAY
Buckle in – Ambush’s ‘A’ Buckle knee boots are officially, and finally here. The deep burgundy boot meets any, and all, of your chunky shoe criteria – manifested in the form of a thick heel and platformed front. The boot is available in black, or burgundy leather – finalised with a series of silver detailed buckles running from the bridge of the foot, all the way to the top of the shoe. The internet is not the only one eating the boot up – which has also been featured in Jennie from BLACKPINK’s Shut Down music video.
ICED OUT – OR IN? ECKHAUS LATTA MEETS MOOSE KNUCKLES
This update is juicer, and ‘moosier’ than you could’ve imagined – this is Eckhaus Latta x Moose Knuckles. The collaboration’s announcement was made on the duo’s Instagram’s – and showcased the collection held up within blocks of ice (bbrrrr.) The shoot took place in New York’s Petrosino Square, and as onlookers witnessed the ice melting – we only have one question: who got to keep the clothes after they were freed? The collection is set to feature a white zip up parka jacket, finished with a white, fur trim which runs from the coat’s bottom, along the arms and across the hood. Alongside a soft, mauve two piece – the collab was dropped yesterday on Lafayette and Kenmare and is available everywhere else on the 10th.
HUGS & KITH-ES FOR ASICS
Today is a good day – and it is all thanks to the Ronnie Fieg’s Kith and Asics. Announced only a couple of days ago, Fieg is responsible for the latest Asics’s jaw-dropper, and it is all about making the old new again. With what was originally a model designed for basketball, the GEL-EXTREME sneaker, has been reimagined to become the EX89. The shoe features a premium suede upper, with Asics tiger stripes and rubber midsole & outsole – and is available in a series of colourways of orange, blue and off-white. A limited quantity of the sneaker was made available today at 11am on the Kith website, with a white leather colourway dropping at a later ‘surprise’ date…
RHIANNA’S RETURNING TO HEAT THINGS UP
Savage x Fenty is gearing up for the release of Volume 4 – and we can assure you that its contents will not bore. Having been announced in mid-October, the wait for a date has been a difficult one – but it is finally over. On the 11th of November Rhianna’s brand is making its return – with a line-up that is bursting at the seams. Featured alongside the brand’s luscious lingerie and confidence-inducing and inclusive garments – a number of big names are set to be involved. Burna Boy’s performance is sure to get us burning a hole in our wallets, especially as the brand’s sports-wear line will also be included.
So, mark your calendars – only two days to go…
