Marine Serre has collaborated with GENTLE MONSTER for SS21 named “VISIONIZER”. The French designer is extremely picky with her collaborations, having only worked with Jimmy Choo and most recently A$AP Rocky’s AWGE. Serre prefers to work with brands who she genuinely shares values with, rather than for the sake of collaboration.
The collaboration offers two pairs of uniquely-shaped sunglasses inspired by the early 2000s. The first pair feature a thick curvy acetate black frame, which remind us of snowboarding gear, or any outdoor-sports gear. The glasses feature the Marine Serre signature crescent moon logo next to the red, orange and blue-tinted lens. The second is reminiscent of goggle style shades, merging cycling eyewear and glamour. The glasses are finished with a slim metallic frame design and are available in silver, red and blue aerodynamic-tinted lenses.
The two styles retail for €200 and €270 respectively, and are now available for purchase on marineserre.com, gentlemonster.com and selected retailers.
