MAHARISHI X REEBOK: IT’S HEMP DAY
The duo have toyed with us long enough – finally confirming the rumours of their collaboration. The pair have come together to create a shoe with the classic Reebok Club C 85 silhouette, but this time made out of Hemp. Maharishi took to their Instagram to give us the juicy details, describing the material as belonging to one of Earth’s “most versatile, resilient, and advanced plant families.” and is synonymous with the brand’s will to create using ethically-sound and environmentally sustainable fabrics. The LT Court Hemp shoe is constructed of a khaki green, rubber outsole, chalk midsole and an off-white (not the brand…) hemp fabric upper – which will be available at 11am on the 28th of October.
BAPE’S GETTING OUR ENGINES RUNNING…
The race is on to get your hands in, not just on, a pair of Bape’s latest collaborations. The brand has come together with MECHANIX WEAR to bring the world both function, and fashion, in the form of a glove. MECHANIX WEAR was first introduced in 1984, with its founder looking to make hand-wear to protect people from hot engines without losing a tactile feel. A task certainly accomplished, and now over 30 years later, Bape is ready for a piece of the action. This camo-print collaboration will keep your fingers toasty, and your wardrobes happy. But act fast, despite only going on sale this weekend, they’re selling like hotcakes.

AN ORIGIN STORY – DION LEE’S GENESIS DIGITAL COLLECTION
Only a matter of hours to go until the unveiling of Dion Lee’s Genesis collection – and we our counting down the minutes until the 25th. The creation of this collection was in collaboration with the artist Sevdaliza and are focussed on her EP ‘Raving Dahlia’ which has been described as providing “a sonic escape in this digital realm”. The curation of this collection finds its genesis in Sevdaliza’s navigation of the music industry as a woman not readily conforming to its standards.
The collection is keeping women in mind, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistant Project. The organisation is in place to support individuals who find themselves financially unable to fund safe, legal abortions or emergency contraceptives. With its origin story founded in fantastic intentions, we are sure its looks will do the cause justice.
A BUNNY ISN’T JUST FOR CHRISTMAS – IT’S FROM CHET LO.
Bunny accessories will certainly have spiked in popularity ever since Chet Lo’s creation of his Spike Bunny bag. A trend only heightened by the brand’s announcement of their ‘Bunny adoption center’ – which can mean only one thing: a bunny bag could be all yours. Our bunny best friend was featured in the brand’s FW/22 collection and has been causing a mighty ruckus ever since. Alongside the chance to give one of these bunnies a new home, you can now snap up any of the other wonderfully spikey pieces featured in the collection.
SUSTAINABILITY AND ATTAINABILITY: INTRODUCING DALA
DALA designs with its wearers in mind – aiming to create and dress a community of like minded people who’s lifestyle maintains a higher priority than trending styles. The brands values inclusion, diversity and sustainability- and hopes it’s wearers do too.
Each piece from DALA represents more than just its denim fabric – intertwining personality and vintage washing and heritage techniques into each piece. The brand works closely with their factory BDA, stationed in Paraguay, with the pair producing denim without pollution or abrasive chemicals.
The jeans are customisable – they are hemmed with bar tracks which allows you to cut their legs to your perfect length. Sizes are from a range of 24-44 waist and are available now. Happy buying…and snipping.

EDWARD CUMING: ON THE FLIP SIDE
Edward Cuming is thirsty – and so are we for his new SS/23 collection. So, consider us hydrated as we wander through his latest designs in a sense of complete, and utter, awe. Cuming has reimagined his own signature silhouettes, transforming his creations into something reminiscent of the summer past.
The designer is ready to embrace any and all imperfections, enjoying playing with the idea of subversion as he brings us a collection focused on the transformative processes of fabric. The result can only be described as seductive, with its garments being ready-to-wear. Cuming has enjoyed curating heritage – taking meticulously crafted silk cotton shirts and submerging them in a hot wash to bring about a sense of a shift previously enjoyed by past generations. The colour story of this collection is soft, as the designer perfectly pairs bold and brilliant purples, playful pinks, and greens.
Cuming has put it best himself: “I want to encourage people to try a garish, silky, purple pair of trousers – to feel excited, bold and confident in what they wear and who they are – even if it won’t sell thousands of units.”
