It’s that time of the year again where Lyst drops its quarterly report to confirm what we all had a sneaky suspicion about: Loewe FTW. While Loewe was only the fifth hottest brand in Q1, according to Lyst the Jonathan Anderson-led brand has surpassed all the others to take the top spot this term, overtaking Prada who now finds itself in second place.
It’s really no surprise that Loewe has soared. Since the beginning of the year ranking, we’ve seen Loewe release its viral pixelated clothing and its recent, whimsical fashion show created even more buzz around the brand that continues to redefine modern luxury.
Although Prada got demoted to second place, it’s still not a bad day for the Italian brand whose little sister Miu Miu came in fourth place. In third, we find Versace, a big jump from its Q1 designated eighth place. Afterall, co-designing a collection with Dua Lipa is hotter than hell.
Loewe didn’t just take home the title of hottest brand home, but are also the owners of the hottest product: the Loewe Anagram tank top. Sometimes, keeping it simple really is the answer. But that’s not the only Loewe product that found its way on the charts, with the Raffia tote bag coming in fourth place.
Footwear came in strong this time around, with (no surprises here) Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 sneakers coming in second place. Also taking up spots is the New Balance x Aimé Leon Dore sneakers in fifth, the Alaïa fishnet flats in seventh and The Row flip flops in eighth.
The one thing we didn’t expect was a lack of Barbiecore, pinked-out pieces on Lyst’s Q2 report. Maybe in Q3…
