LOEWE has released the iconic jumpsuit worn by Rihanna during her Super Bowl halftime show. The all-red jumpsuit drew on the flight gear aesthetic and was almost as talked about as the performance itself.
The cargo jumpsuit and trousers feature utility detailing and trousers, including front jet pockets, ankle welt pockets, zipped ankle cuffs and removable D-ring straps. The one-piece is crafted from cotton canvas in a roomy, relaxed fit and is available in black and red. While no way an official Halloween release, the jumpsuit bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain number sported by Michael Jackson in the ‘Thriller’ music video.
The Rihanna Super Bowl look comprised multiple layers and textures, with the cargo jumpsuit enveloping a catsuit crafted from a sleek foundation in silk jersey with a matching cotton canvas flight suit and a made-to-measure leather corset.
Rihanna has formed a relationship with LOEWE’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, who has seen her sports pieces from the Spanish fashion house offstage, too. Earlier this year, Rihanna sported LOEWE’s striped polo sweater, proving her love for the brand goes beyond Michael-Jackson-esque jumpsuits.
Whether you’re trick or treating or taking off, LOEWE has you covered (literally). If your bank account can hack it, you can get a spooky season slay via select LOEWE stores and online with prices starting from £2,100.
