A$AP Rocky‘s debut mixtape ‘LIVE.LOVE.A$AP’ is officially 10 years old, and the birthday celebrations have meant that it’s available on streaming services for the first time in history.
The mixtape includes 15 tracks, and spans 50 minutes. Despite being pushed back a handful of times back in 2011, the mixtape dropped to a great reception and catapulted the rapper to fame. Standout tracks include Acid Drip and Peso, tracks that transcend the decade and marked out Rocky as a rapper to watch, even then.
Some slight tweaks from the original have been made for the streaming version: this edition does not include the cuts “Purple Swag: Chapter 2” with SpaceGhostPurrp and A$AP Nast, “Kissin’ Pink” with A$AP Ferg and the closer “Out of This World.” Instead, “Purple Swag” and the previously unreleased cut “Sandman,” appear.
Rocky himself took to Instagram to announce the news, expressing that it has been “A CRAZY JOURNEY. FROM HOPPIN TRAIN$ WIT YAM$ ,DA UP$ & DOWN$, DA HUGZ, DA PUNCHE$, DA LAUGH$, DA TEARZ, DA HI’$ & LOW$. Relive the glory days of 2011 Rocky and listen on all streaming platforms now.
